Thanks for visiting the eWEB software demonstration site. Please note that this site was created entirely with eWEB in about an hour! Many school districts are interested in improving communications between parents and teachers. There are two problems that often stand in the way:  TIME The time required to train teachers to create and maintain a website is often a major roadblock to implementation. and...  MONEY Many website programs are expensive to license for all of the teachers in a school district. If you can word process a letter, you can create and publish a web page DISTRICT-WIDE GRAPHICS COLLECTION Clip art for use on websites is stored in one place. This reduces the amount of space required on your webserver! EASILY INSERT PICTURES AND WEBLINKS An Insert Helper makes it easy to add pictures to your website ---- Links to other websites take only seconds - just type in the URL, and a prompt to point to it TEXT IN A VARIETY OF FORMATS Text in each section of the website can be centered or left aligned. In addition the text can be Boldface or Normal, in 5 different sizes. |
 The primary eWEB design goal is: ANY USER CAN LEARN TO CREATE AND PUBLISH A WEBSITE WITH ONLY ONE HOUR OF TRAINING! Wouldn't it be great to conduct a one hour workshop with the teachers in your school, and have them creating and publishing their own websites the next day? Our training design goal has been tested with real, genuine, "garden-variety" teachers, and the results have been impressive. Most teachers had eWEB sites on the Internet the next day! |

 How can I create a website if I don't know HTML? ...it's easy, the eWEB interface allows you to add all of the components that make up a website by simply clicking on buttons and entering text. (ps. If you do know some basic HTML commands, you can use them!) for example: Here's some BOLD text and Here's some ITALICIZED Text How do I add graphics to my website? ... there are graphics boxes built into the system that allow you to select from a set of images that you can add by just typing the image name. School or district logos and graphics may also be added to the common graphics folder for use by all. What if I want to add my own pictures? ... any picture you have can be easily added to the website. This includes scanned art or projects, digital photos or other types of clipart. Here's one of our favorites...  How do I add hyperlinks to other websites? ... the Insert Helper asks you to type in the website you would like to link to, and a prompt to describe the link. It's easy! What's the difference between a BUTTON and a LINK? ... a link provides a text prompt to another website, like this - Click here to visit GOOGLE ...a button provides a graphic that links to another website or location, like this - How do I look over my website before I publish it? ... a PREVIEW button let's you see the website in your browser, before you publish it. How complicated is the process of publishing my website? ... you click on PUBLISH, then supply a userid and password, and the website is posted to your web server. Can I really create and publish a website after only an hour's training? ... YES! It really is THAT EASY! |

Exclusively Micros! LLC has been a Connecticut business for over 20 years. Founded by Edward F. Montagnino, the primary business goal of EMLLC has been to provide consulting services and software design in the field of education. Recently, a major initiative has been to develop a complete curriculum database system that allows teachers and administrators to create and store curriculum maps, pblas, lesson plans, and electronic documents. These goals have been reached with the announcement of the eCURRICULUM SYSTEM, which was developed as a pilot project with a local Connecticut school district. Throughout the design phase, teacher focus groups have provided suggestions for improvement, most of which are part of the current versions of eMAP, ePBA, eLP and eCS ADMIN One of the key reasons for selecting Exclusively Micros! software is that customers do not receive packaged software that is delivered "as-is." All schools and districts that purchase the eCURRICULUM SYSTEM are encouraged to participate in a users' consortium that will meet 4 times per year to learn about new features, discuss curriculum issues and successes, and make suggestions for improvements directly to Ed - the head programmer at Exclusively Micros!
