TRAINING STRATEGY
Exclusively Micros! recommends a "train the trainers" approach to training staff.
Most users can easily navigate the single-screen interface. It provides a template that prompts teachers for the infomation required to complete a map.
A one-hour workshop has been used effectively in many schools to prepare teachers to map their units of study. Once teachers are familiar with the eMAP interface, the transition to using ePBA and eLP is seamless.
One person should be designated as systems manager. This person uses the eCS ADMIN program to create and update databases, and to create the HTML documents that allow users to access all eCURRICULUM SYSTEM documents with an intranet/Internet browser.
